Superman has kryptonite, escooters have water as their weakness. Stay out of the rain or humid areas.

Moisture - water is bad for escooters. 

Be careful of the wires going into your motor. They are easily damaged but tricky to repair and when the wires touch can lead to serious short circuits.

Flashing or modifying an escooter can cause melted moments for the wiring.
